TRUE
NORTH
MAN
We exist to help men uncover their true identity, take ownership of their God-given purpose, and live with greater clarity and vision.
We envision a world where men are living life and giving life through the peace and fulfillment they have attained with self-discovery and self-mastery.
The True North Man is an intentional man who strives to live life in a manner that edifies and uplifts those around him. He knows who he truly is, has a compelling vision, and lives with purpose.
Paul Beam is a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000-2004. His family includes three sons, two step-daughters and his wife. Most of Paul’s career has been in management and human relations.
In 2013 Paul decided to make some changes and finish his studies. During his course of study Paul founded ManCamp in 2015 and would later form the True North organization (2016). In 2017 Paul graduated from Concordia University where he obtained his B.A. in Communications, Religious Education, and Psychology. He has since obtained credentials in life coaching, creates and instructs courses for men, hosts the True North Man Podcast, speaks on vision, identity, purpose, and life-change, and is also an ordained minister.
MAKING AN IMPACT ISN'T EASY. IT'S HARD.
IT'S WHAT WE'RE MADE FOR.
YOU READY?
Man Camp in Fall 2017 was a huge turning point in my marriage. My husband was invited to go and when he came back home he was truly on fire for Jesus. He found true friends that he is comfortable reaching out to with struggles and prayer requests and has become so much closer to God. From a wife's perspective, Man Camp radically changed not only my husband but our marriage.
Thank you gentleman for your ministry! Have a blessed week!

For decades, I have kept my fears and worries bottled up, turning off my emotions and feeling more and more isolated. I stressed on work and ate compulsively. I was becoming diabetic and resigned to watching my health decline. At Mancamp, we all privately wrote down our fears on a wall, and I saw my fears and worries written down by others - I was not alone. I was able to open up with other men and renew my relationship with Christ in just a 2-day Mancamp, and now see Christ and community of men as a support network. I know that God is with me as I face my fears, and I do not feel isolated any more.
